Women’s Soccer’s Season Finale vs. Toccoa Falls Canceled Due to Weather

TOCCOA, Ga. – Due to severe inclement weather in Toccoa, Georgia, this afternoon's season finale vs. Toccoa Falls College has been canceled.

The announcement concludes the 2019 season for Head Coach Juan Mascaro's Brevard College women's soccer team.

The Tornados finish their 2019 campaign with a 5-10-3 record, including a 4-4 mark in USA South Conference play. Brevard's four wins in conference action are the second-most in BC's NCAA-era history.

Brevard's offense in 2019 was led by freshmen Brianna Link and Ashley Royster, who each scored three goals. Sophomore Alyssa Hetherington added two goals for the Tornados.

Individually, 2019 brought a very impressive season for goalkeeper Rebeccah Rojas. A two-time USA South Defensive Player of the Week selection, Rojas rewrote several goalkeeping categories in the Brevard record books. Rojas' 1.05 goals-against-average improved on her own single-season record, set last season, while Rojas' 110 saves were the third-most in a single season for a Brevard keeper in the NCAA-era. Rojas logged a grand total of 1,608:16 minutes of action this year, the second-most ever for a BC keeper in the NCAA-era.

Rojas holds career records for lowest goals-against-average (1.14), shutouts (11), and wins (20) in Brevard's NCAA-era.
