Brevard College Women's Soccer Featured in Fieldhouse Asheville - Tornados Boast Top Record in the Area

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Brevard College Women's Soccer team is the feature of this week's Fieldhouse Asheville blog written by acclaimed sports journalist Tom Flynn.

The feature in Fieldhouse Asheville highlights Brevard's record (7-3-0) which is currently tops amongst area college women's soccer programs, ahead of such teams like Western Carolina (5-4-2) and Furman (6-5-0).
 
The story also highlights the individual achievements of BC forward Ashley Hughes, the area's leading scorer, and goalkeeper Hannah Weatherall. Hughes currently leads the USA South Conference with 11 goals and 24 points, while Weatherall has been named the USA South's Defensive Player of the Week.
 
The Tornados return to action 2 p.m. on Saturday with a home match vs. Covenant at Ives-Lemel Field.
