Brevard Falls on the Road to Meredith

RALEIGH, N.C.- Six different Avenging Angels scored multiple goals, led by Holly Hite's four goals in Meredith's 22-0 win over Brevard on Saturday afternoon.

Brevard (4-7) was shut out for the first time since the 2014 season, as the Tornados were held to four shots on the contest, with Hunter Denney, Nina Siu, Micaiah Vacchiano and Victoria Hayes each recording one shot. Goalkeeper Shelby Arsenault led all players with four saves in the game.

Meredith (9-3) scored six goals in the first three minutes of the game, highlighted by two goals from Julie Capretti. The Avenging Angels were able to score 17 goals in the first half, with Hite scoring all four of her goals in the first 30 minutes of the contest.

Brevard will return to action on March 30, as the Tornados will go on the road to take on Ferrum at 1 p.m.
