BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College Tornados Women's Basketball team (2-0) are set to face the Bob Jones University Bruins in non-conference action in Greenville, S.C. on Monday evening. The action is set to begin at 7 p.m.

Monday's matchup marks the first of two meetings between the teams in the 2018-19 season, as they will meet once more at the Boshamer Gymnasium on the campus of Brevard College on Thursday, November 29 at 6 p.m.

Brevard looks to continue its hot start to the 2018-19 season in which it has won the first two games of the season. The Tornados opened 2018-19 with a record-setting 89-43 victory over Toccoa Falls before a home-opening victory against Berry College 77-61.

Behind a season-opening 2-0 start, the Tornados are off to their best start since 2016-17, where they opened the year with four-straight wins.

In its two games, Brevard has been led by strong offensive performances. Five Tornados are currently averaging double-digit scoring totals through the first two games of the season.

Senior Guard Annalee Bollinger leads the Tornado attack, averaging 15.5 ppg while shooting 65% from the field and 56% from long range.

Sophomore forward Destiny Williams has recorded double-doubles in both of Brevard's contests, averaging 14 ppg and 11 rpg through the first two games. Williams recorded 17 points and 10 rebounds in Brevard's home-opener against Berry College.

Brevard's bench has also provided quite the spark thus far on the season, as both Taryn Ledford and Shakirah Thompson average 11.5 ppg as reserves. Thompson currently leads the Tornados in both field goal percentage (67%) and three-point percentage (78%).

After BC's trip to Bob Jones, the Tornados will have a nine-day hiatus before returning home to face Toccoa Falls for the second time this season as part of doubleheader action. Brevard's women's team will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. and the men's team will follow afterward with a 7:30 scheduled tip-off time on Wednesday, November 28. The BC Women's Basketball team will then host Bob Jones University on Thursday, November 29 at 6 p.m.
