BREVARD, N.C. – Due to ongoing inclement weather in Western North Carolina and the surrounding areas, Brevard College Softball's home-opening doubleheader originally scheduled for Saturday, February 23 at 1 & 3 p.m. has been postponed.

The contests against Montreat will be played on Sunday, February 24, at Ives-Lemel Field, with game times remaining the same. Live stats and live video will both be available on www.bctornados.com

The Tornados are coming off of a resounding season-opening victory at NCAA DII Elizabeth City State. BC earned a 9-0 victory in a rescheduled first game, as weather forced the second game to be canceled.

After BC Softball's doubleheader against Montreat, the Tornados host N.C. Wesleyan on Saturday, March 2 at 12 & 2 p.m. followed by a Sunday afternoon tilt against Methodist University on Sunday, March 3 at 12 & 2 p.m. This homestand is followed by a trip to Tucson, Az. where the Tornados will take part in the Tucson Invitational Games (TIG) Spring Break Tournament, playing eight contests over a four-day, March 5-8 span against six different opponents.
