BREVARD, N.C.- Following their tough double-overtime loss on October 3rd, the Brevard men's soccer team will take on Greensboro and William Peace in back-to-back matches this weekend.

Brevard (2-5) will travel to Greensboro on October 7th to take on the Pride (8-4), then the next day will go to Raleigh to take on the William Peace Pacers (5-5-1).

In their previous match the Tornados took the USA South Conference leading Maryville Scots to double-overtime, where Maryville scored the only goal of the match with nine seconds remaining for the victory.

Brevard will look to get their offense going again, as they did in their wins over Huntingdon and Berea, winning by a combined 10-1 in those two matches. The Tornados have seven different players that have recorded a goal this season, and will look for another well-balanced offensive attack against Greensboro and William Peace.

Tornado goalkeeper Eric Lenhart will look to have another solid performance, as he has recorded 21 saves over the last three matches.

On defense against the Pride, the Tornados will look to stop the high-powered attack from Gerardo Peraza and Carlos Barragan, who are ranked in the top five in the USA South Conference in total points scored (21, 20 respectively).

In their match Sunday against William Peace, Brevard will be facing a goalkeeper in Christian Ortiz, who has recorded 46 saves on the year and has notched four shutouts in his 11 starts in 2017.
