BREVARD, N.C. – Brevard College Tornados Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Jim Fritz announced the hiring of Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach Arno Olivier.

A native of Raleigh, N.C., Olivier has built a highly reputable resume in a short period of time. He was a former high school standout at Middle Creek High School, where he was selected as First Team All-State and First Team Eastern Region. Olivier then went on to continue his playing career at Lenior-Rhyne, where he was elected Second Team All-Conference and played on a South Atlantic Conference championship squad. Olivier started all four years at the LSM position.

Olivier's most recent position was at Panther Creek High School in Cary, N.C. There he served as the Head Men's Varsity Lacrosse Coach.

Alongside Panther Creek, Olivier added several other experiences to build his coaching repertoire. He utilized his skills to teach private lacrosse lessons and served as a lacrosse trainer in the summers and falls. Olivier also brings club coaching experience and prior customer service experience with him to Brevard.

"I am very excited to have Arno join our program," commented Coach Fritz after the hire.  "I have been fortunate to have had some great assistant coaches in the past including nine who went on to coach at the Division 1 level, and he has that same potential. I feel Arno is a great young coach who will really help our players improve and help our program get to the next level."

Olivier will bring specialization with defense, man-down, rides, and clears to the table at Brevard. He will serve in all day-to-day functions of the program.
