Men’s Golf Closes Out Fall Season with Success at Maryville College Invitational

ROCKFORD, Tenn. – The Brevard College Tornados Men's Golf team closed out its fall season at the Maryville College Invitational. The tournament was held at the Egwani Farms Golf Course in Rockford, Tenn. The course played at 6432 yards at Par 70.

(T-7) Thibault Tranchant: 1st (+4, 74); 2nd (+5, 75); Final (+9, 149)

(T-9) Thomas Purcell: 1st (+9, 79); 2nd (+1, 71); Final (+10, 150)

(T-12) Austin Fisher: 1st (+6, 76); 2nd (+6, 76); Final (+12, 152)

Tranchant led the way for the Tornados with a two-round score of 149 at 9-over-par. This score was good enough to put Tranchant in a tie for seventh place.

Purcell finished the competition with a two-round score of 150 at 10-over-par. Purcell's second round score of 71 at one-over-par was the fourth-best score of the second round.

Fisher closed out a successful fall with a score of 152 at 12-over-par. Fisher enjoyed a victory at the weather-shortened Mars Hall Fall Invitational at Broadmoor Golf Links in Fletcher, N.C.
