BEREA, Ky. - Brevard College sophomore runner Gavin Morgan set a new personal record for the 8K race by running a time of 28:00, pacing the Tornados with a 13th place finish at Berea College's Mike & Mary K Invite in Berea, Kentucky on Saturday morning.
Morgan, the reigning USA South Runner of the Week after a top-10 finish at Tusculum University's Zaxby's Open last weekend, clocked an impressive 28:00 vs. a highly field in the 8K on Saturday.
Brevard Cross Country will return to action at the Queen City Invitational in Charlotte, N.C., hosted by UNC-Charlotte on Friday, September 27.
