BREVARD, N.C. – Brevard College Tornados Cross Country student-athletes George Dowis and Hannah Spear were selected to the USA South Conference All-Sportsmanship team.

The USA South Conference released its season awards after the conclusion of the USA South Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships held in Maryville, Tenn. on Friday afternoon.

Dowis wrapped up his 2018 season by placing 58^th in the USA South Men's Championships, finishing with a time of 32:18. Dowis also competed in the Charleston College Classic (49^th, 32:08), the Maryville College Invitational (44^th, 33:02), the Bulldog Stampede (33^rd, 34:12), and Tusculum's Zaxby's Open (5k, 21:02).

Spear finished her 2018 campaign running a 30:13 in the USA South Women's Championships, finishing 60^th overall. Spear also competed in the Charleston Classic (55^th, 24:39), the Maryville College Invitational (36^th, 29:03), the Bulldog Stampede (25^th, 31:38), and Tusculum's Zaxby's Open (5k, 25:46).
