BC Volleyball Drops Pair in Tri-Match

Brevard, N.C. - The Brevard College Women's Volleyball team dropped a pair of matches in a USA South Conference tri-match played Saturday at the Boshamer Gymnasium.

Brevard won a set in the first match of the day vs. LaGrange, but ultimately fell 3-1 (25-15, 21-25, 25-17, 25-9) to the Panthers.

Hannah Jenkins led the Tornados with 11 kills, while Hannah Gordon set up her teammates with a team-high 22 assists against LaGrange.  Mariana Rodriguez recorded seven digs to lead BC defensively against the Panthers.

In the second match of the day for the Tornados, BC faced off against Maryville.  The Scots won that match in three sets (25-18, 25-13, 25-12). Rodriguez registered 14 digs, while Gordon assisted 17 assists.  Jenkins tallied eight kills in the match.

The Tornados return to action at 6 p.m. on Tuesday with a road conference match at Agnes Scott in Decatur, Ga.
