Four BC Women’s Tennis Student-Athletes Awarded ITA Scholar-Athlete Honor

BREVARD, N.C. – Brevard College women's tennis student-athletes Margaret Correll, Jen Cox, Lily Farr, and Brooke Garland have been honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, being selected as Scholar-Athletes.

The four Tornados bring BC women's tennis' all-time ITA Scholar-Athlete count to 30. All four Tornados have earned multiple ITA Scholar-Athlete honors during their Brevard careers.

In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, one must meet the following requirements:

·         have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year

·         be listed on the institutional eligibility form
