The Tornados produced two impressive wins in singles play with victories by freshmen Alli Kogoy and Sarah Iocovozzi.

Kogoy cruised in her number five singles match, defeating Megan Harwood of UVA-Wise.  Kogoy beat Harwood 6-3 in the first set before a dominant 6-1 second set to take the match.

Iocovozzi had to battle back after losing the first set 6-2 to Olivia Dishner in number six singles.  Iocovozzi fought hard to a 7-6 win in the second set to set up a match-deciding third set.  The final set proved to be an intense battle, with Iocovozzi eventually finishing off Dishner with a 7-5 win.
