BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College Women's Tennis team defeated Montreal 7-2 to highlight the fall tennis season for the Tornados.

The Women's competition was highlighted by the continued strong play by freshman Eleanor Flannery who won 6-2, 6-2 over Emily Wells in number two singles.  It marked the third straight singles win for Flannery in as many career matches.  The sensational freshman improved to 3-0 in singles for her collegiate career after winning her first two career matches last week in Greenville, S.C.

In number one women's doubles, the duo of Jen Cox and Darden King put together an impressive 8-2 win over Montreat's number one team of Wells and Elizabeth Beary. The Tornados won by default in number two doubles, number three doubles as well as number four, five and six singles to take the win.

The match vs. Montreat concluded the 2018 fall campaign for the Tornados.  Brevard will begin 2019 Spring competition with a match at Southern Wesleyan on February 2 in Central S.C.
