Brevard Looks to Build on Momentum in Rematch with Maryville

BREVARD, N.C.- Brevard women's tennis will look to earn their first winning streak of the season as they go on the road in search of the season sweep over Maryville on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.

Brevard (3-8) is coming off a 9-0 match sweep over Wesleyan (Ga.) on March 24, in a match where Kelsey Kushner, Jen Cox, Carmen Boone and Christina Beltran each pulled off 2-0 sweeps in their singles matches.

Maryville (3-8) is coming off its 8-1 win over Berea, as five of their six singles players completed straight set sweeps over the Scots on Tuesday night.

In the last meeting between the two schools Brevard won in a 5-4 thriller on March 13, as Carmen Boone picked up the final win of the match for Brevard to pick up their second team win of the year.
