2018 (FRESHMAN): Claimed four doubles victories and three singles wins in her first season of collegiate tennis … teamed with Margaret Correll for the first doubles win of the slate (8-3) at Montreat (Oct. 4) against Kaitlyn Thomas/Emily Wells … earned her first collegiate singles victory (6-2, 7-6) against Madison Furr as the Tornados clashed with Pfeiffer (Feb. 16) … grabbed a doubles win alongside Correll against Piedmont (Feb. 27) as the pair downed Mattie Wood/Maureen Truett 8-5 … snagged her second singles win of the slate as she took down Iadleen Scoggins (7-6, 4-6, 13-11) at Wesleyan (March 25). That win came after she and Correll took down the Scoggins/YuanYuan Zhang by an 8-2 score … laid claim to her third singles win of the season with a 3-6, 6-3, 10-7 triumph at Piedmont (April 3) against Crysalin Gloria … ended the season on a high note with a doubles win against Berea (April 8) as she and Correll downed Agnes Dotse/Ashley Ferrell by an 8-3 margin.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-time letterwinner in tennis under head coach Heather Bell at Franklin High School … competed on both the singles and doubles teams … began playing tennis in her freshman year and had no previous experience with the sport.   

PERSONAL: Mekenzie Leanne Bowman … daughter of Vicki and Aaron Bowman … major is undecided.
