Brevard women's soccer looks to bounce back against Emory & Henry

BREVARD, N.C.- The Brevard women's soccer team looks to bounce back against Emory & Henry on September 15 at 7 p.m.

The Tornados will host their second consecutive match at Ives-Lemel Field, following their 3-1 setback at the hands of Pfeiffer on Wednesday evenings.

Both teams will be hungry for a win, as Emory & Henry enters the match coming off a loss themselves, a 5-0 defeat against Greensboro College on September 13.

The Tornados will continue to look for their veteran leaders in Sydney Alencewicz and Megan Shina for scoring opportunities, as the two have combined for five goals and one assist on the season.

On the defensive end, Brevard will look to contain Emory & Henry senior Christina Ameen, who leads the Wasps with seven total shots on the season.

This will be the first meeting between the two schools since September 9, 2016, a match Brevard won 4-0 in Emory, Va.
