Brevard College Women's Basketball Alumna Annalee Bollinger Named Assistant Coach at Averett University

DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University women's basketball head coach Aby Diop announced the addition of assistant coach Annalee Bollinger to the Cougars' program on Monday.

A native of Hickory, North Carolina, Bollinger is no stranger to the USA South Athletic Conference. She had a four-year playing career, including her final three years at fellow USA South member Brevard College after transferring from Division II Saint Joseph's College in Indiana after her freshman season. While at Brevard, Bollinger was a team captain for three years, holds the NCAA-era school record for 3-pointers made and became a member of the 1,000-point club.

While at Brevard, Bollinger was an intern for the women's basketball team, was an operations intern for the football team and served as the vice president of SAAC for two years. She also coached the 17U AAU Surry Storm girls from April to August of 2018.

Bollinger graduated from Brevard in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and a minor in coaching. She is pursuing her master of business administration degree with a concentration in leadership from Averett.
