Brevard's Deja Riddick led all scorers with 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field. Freshman Avery Lockwood recorded her second double-double of 2018-19 with a 10 point, 12 rebound effort against the Mountaineers. After Brevard's weekend road trip that wraps up a stretch of four games in seven days, the Tornados have the next week off before another weekend road trip. Brevard heads to Maryville, Tenn. to rematch Maryville College (4-6, 2-1 USAS) on Saturday, January 12 at 4 p.m. before heading to Demorest, Ga. for a rematch with Piedmont College (7-3, 4-0 USAS) on Sunday, January 13 at 1 p.m.
