SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Brevard College Tornados (6-4, 2-3 USAS) wrapped up its back-to-back exhibition slate at the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium in Spartanburg, S.C., falling to the NCAA DI Wofford Terriers (7-6) by a final score of 106-52 on Wednesday afternoon.

The Tornados were highlighted by the offensive performance of senior guard Annalee Bollinger, who for the second-straight day led her team in scoring. The Hickory, N.C. native tallied a team-high 14 points, 11 of which came in the first quarter of action. Bollinger had the hot hand in the first period, shooting 4-of-5 from the field (80%) which included 3-of-4 from beyond the arc (75%)

Sophomore guard Ty'She Washington recorded nine points and dished out four assists on the afternoon. Sophomore forward Deja Riddick racked up eight points and grabbed a team-high five rebounds.  Freshman center Avery Lockwood added seven points and three boards to the Tornados' efforts.

Wofford was sparked by a remarkable day from Chloe Wanink who amassed 31 points in just 12 minutes of action, 25 of which came in the first half.

Wofford took the lead from the opening tip, leading the game wire-to-wire as the Tornados were unable to muster much offensive momentum outside of the first period.

Led by Wanink, the Terriers shot 56.5% from the field compared to Brevard's 37%. Wofford also shot well from long range, shooting 10-of-20 (50%), as the Tornados shot 9-of-25 (36%) from behind the arc.

Brevard committed 30 costly turnovers, as Wofford swiped 24 steals that led to 42 points-off-turnovers. The Terrier's presence in the paint was also a key factor, outscoring the Tornados 54-16 in the painted area.

The BC Tornados Women's Basketball team will turn its attention to a New Year's Eve road trip to Laurinburg, N.C. to face the St. Andrews University Knights (4-6) at 2 p.m.
