Wofford Awaits Tornados on Monday

BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard women's basketball team squares off against its third NCAA Division I opponent of the season on Monday when it takes on Wofford at the Richardson Indoor Stadium at 6 p.m. The game will serve as the Tornados' final exhibition of the slate.

Brevard (8-5) is riding a four-game winning streak heading into the game, posting wins over Agnes Scott (57-43), Huntingdon (58-46), William Peace (95-62) and Wesleyan (72-47) in succession.

The Tornados were led in their 25-point victory over Wesleyan by Annalee Bollinger, Destiny Williams and Kelsie Rhyne. Bollinger topped double figures for the 11th time this season by hitting 5-of-11 from the floor, including two from 3-point range, while finishing a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.

Williams eclipsed the double-digit mark for the sixth time this season and second time in as many games by finishing 5-of-12 from the field and 6-of-9 at the charity stripe. Rhyne enjoyed her second double-digit performance in as many games by converting 5-of-9 field goals and two free throws to go along with six rebounds (three offensive).

Bollinger leads the way for Brevard offensively with 186 points (14.3 ppg), followed closely by Ty'She Washington (9.8) and Destiny Williams (8.5). DeMoss anchors the post for the Tornados with 96 rebounds (66 defensive), while Williams has applied defensive pressure on the opposition with 31 steals.

Wofford (8-10) has won two of its last three games, including a 54-48 triumph over Western Carolina on Saturday afternoon. The Terriers, who are averaging 63.1 points per contest, are hitting 37 percent (412-1114) from the floor on the season. Wofford has managed 86 3-pointers over the course of the campaign.

Chloe Wanink leads the way for Wofford in scoring (22.1 points per game), while teammate Cairo Booker (10. 8) ranks first on the team in points (194) and field goals made (73). Da'Ja Green is also averaging double figure points (10.4) to go along with 109 rebounds.
