ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - The Brevard College Tornados men's soccer team (0-4-2, 0-1-2 USAS) concluded a weekend USA South road trip with a 3-0 defeat at the hands of the N.C. Wesleyan Battling Bishops (6-1-1, 4-0-0 USAS) on Sunday afternoon.

The Battling Bishops found the back of the net once in the first half, connecting on a 25th-minute goal before striking twice in the second half to close out the victory.

Senior goalkeeper Patrick Hall saved five shots for the Tornados in 90 minutes of action.

The Battling Bishops applied pressure on the attack, doubling the Tornados' shot total, 14-7. Brevard conceded four total corner kicks on the evening, and the foul count was even at 10 apiece.

Brevard's Joao Monteiro led the Tornados with two shots, one of which was on target. Fellow freshman Vinicius Giannaccini also tallied a shot-on-goal on the afternoon.

Brevard returns to action on Saturday, September 28 with a visit to LaGrange, Ga. for a conference match against LaGrange College, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. The Tornados have played every single one of their matches on the road thus far this season, as their home-opener vs. Covenant was postponed due to inclement weather.
