2019 BREVARD COLLEGE MEN'S SOCCER SCHEDULE

BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College Tornados Men's Soccer program, under the direction of Head Coach Bradley Morrison, has announced its 2019 slate of opponents. Heading into their third season of NCAA Division III competition, the Tornados will play 13 USA South Athletic Conference matches, four non-conference opponents, and three exhibitions. BC will make nine appearances at Ives-Lemel Family Field, seven of which being regular-season contests.

"We are excited about how our 2019 schedule has come together," stated Coach Morrison. "We play in a tough USA South Athletic Conference with games all over the southeast that will test us each time we take the field.  We look forward to growing together each game beginning with our exhibition games that feature a few teams in different divisions of college soccer."

BC begins its 2019 campaign with three exhibition matches in the month of August. The Tornados first host NAIA opponent Milligan College in preseason play on Monday, August 19 at 3 p.m. before closing out the two-match exhibition homestand against NCAA DIII Guilford College on Saturday, August 24 at 3 p.m.

Wesleyan College on September 22 at 1 p.m.

The Tornados will conclude their 2019 regular season with a trip to Winston-Salem, N.C. for a matchup with Piedmont International University on Wednesday, October 30 at 6 p.m.

Brevard Men's Soccer is set to return several key contributors from their 2018 roster into the 2019 campaign.

BC goalkeeper Patrick Hall recorded 132 saves in 2018, which led the USA South Conference and was the second-most single-season saves in BC's NCAA-era history.

The Tornados will also return their two leading goal scorers in Matheus Masukawa and Alex Tenjhay.

Brevard concludes its spring with a spring match against Lees-McRae College on Friday, April 12 at Ives-Lemel Field. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

"A schedule release gives the players and supporters concrete objectives to look forward to, which is very exciting," added Coach Morrison. "Our group will continue to work hard to improve each opportunity that we can in preparation for the season and then throughout the Fall season.  We look forward to the opportunities we have to represent Brevard College throughout the southeast in the Fall."
