BREVARD, N.C. – Bradley Morrison has been named Head Men's Soccer Coach at Brevard College, announced Director of Athletics Myranda Nash. Morrison, who coached at Brevard from 2013-15, returns to BC after most recently serving as Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at NCAA Division I Gardner-Webb University.
"I am incredibly happy to welcome Bradley back to the Tornados family," said Nash. "His passion and knowledge of the game is contagious as he truly knows how to relate and pull the best out of every student-athlete he coaches."
For the past three years, Morrison served as Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Gardner-Webb where he helped coach 12 All-Big South Conference selections, including four all-conference placements this past season. In 2017, Morrison helped lead Gardner-Webb to an 8-7-2 overall record (the school's best record in the past four years) and a 4-2-1 record in the Big South. That 2017 team recorded 42 goals, a 2.47 goals-per-game average, which ranked fourth in NCAA Division I.
Since 2012, Morrison has also worked as an Olympic Development Program (ODP) staff coach and coaching education instructor for the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA).
Prior to his tenure at Gardner-Webb, Morrison spent three seasons at Brevard College. For the 2013 season, he served as Assistant Coach for the Tornados under then-Head Men's Soccer Coach and current BC Head Women's Soccer Coach Juan Mascaro. In 2014, Morrison became the Head Men's Soccer Coach for the Tornados. In his second season at BC, Morrison guided the Tornados to a much-improved 4-5-2 conference mark in 2015.
After gaining even more valuable experience these past three years at the NCAA Division I level, Morrison is now excited to return to Brevard College.

"I know that we are going to enjoy our time here and I look forward to creating something special with the student-athletes. We are going to develop a team spirit and play soccer in a manner that will make the Brevard College community proud."
After a successful playing career, Morrison began his coaching career as an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Gardner-Webb in 2009 before adding duties as the Director of Coaching with the Greater Cleveland County Soccer Association.
As a player, Morrison led Gardner-Webb with eight goals in 2008 en route to being named All-Big South Conference and to the Big South's All-Tournament team. An excellent student, he was twice named Academic All-Conference.
Morrison graduated from Gardner-Webb with a B.S. in Biology in 2009 and earned a Master's degree in Sports Science and Pedagogy in 2011.
