Pfeiffer Downs Brevard in Conference Play

MISENHEIMER, N.C. – The Brevard College Tornados Men's Soccer team (3-9, 2-6) fell to the Pfeiffer Falcons (5-6, 2-5) by a score of 8-1 on Sunday afternoon in USA South Conference action. The match marked the end of Brevard's brief two-game win streak against conference competition.

Sunday's matchup was characterized by the shot differential. Pfeiffer outshot BC 25-3 (10-1 shots-on-goal), and it showed up on the scoreboard. The Falcons scored five goals in the first half followed by three goals in the second half.

Patrick Hall (3-9-0) recorded two saves on the afternoon. 

Adam Spencer picked up his second goal of 2018 in the 57th minute of action in Misenheimer, N.C. Spencer found the back of the net after an assist from David Garrett. This assist marked the first of Garrett's BC career.

The Tornados return to action on Saturday, October 13 as they host N.C. Wesleyan in Brevard, N.C. The action is slated to begin at 11 a.m. at Ives-Lemel Field. The match will mark BC's Senior Day, where seniors Brock Tuttle, Chris Efencey, and Bry'Kendrick Moore will be honored.
