Brevard ready for their final back-to-back matches of the season

BREVARD, N.C.- Brevard men's soccer heads into the weekend ready to take on Ferrum and Averett in back-to-back home matches.

The Tornados enter the match coming off a last-second loss to Covenant on October 14th, but were previously winners of two-straight matches, their longest winning streak of  the season.

Brevard will look to get back on track with a quick-strike offense that has averaged 4.25 goals per match and 19.5 shots per match in their four victories in 2017.

Ferrum heads into the match Saturday 8-6-1, coming off a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Greensboro on October 17. The Panthers are led by Keith Ricks, who leads the USA South Conference in total points scored (32) on the season.

Averett currently sits at 4-9-2 on the year, as they will go on the road to Piedmont Saturday afternoon before taking on Brevard. The Cougars have two players that have recorded double-digit points on the season in David Cuperman (23) and Huso Dukic (13).

Brevard will take on Ferrum at 2 p.m. Saturday, and will play Averett at approximately 2 p.m. on Sunday, following the Brevard women's soccer match earlier in the day.
