Greensboro began the scoring in the 20th minute, as Jared Heller found the back of the net on an assist from Darli Mihindou.

In the second half, the Pride scored in the 63rd minute off a goal from Cole Watkins to increase the Greensboro lead to two.

Less than a minute later, Brock Tuttle buried a shot for Brevard to cut the lead in half.
