Brevard falls on the road to N.C. Wesleyan

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.- Brevard men's soccer dropped their third straight match of the season at the hands of N.C. Wesleyan Sunday afternoon 3-0. 

The loss drops Brevard to 1-4-0 on the season, as they were swept in their first of four back-to-back matches of 2017.

Brevard was outshot by N.C. Wesleyan 27-14 on the day, and were shut out for the third time this season.

The scoring began in the 28th minute, as Baboucarr Njie found the back of the net on an unassisted goal.

In the second half, Ignacio Lerech scored in the 59th minute off an assist from Paa Malick Faal to make the score 2-0.

The Battling Bishops added one more goal on the match from Sheriff Secka in the 80th minute.

The Tornados will return to action September 30, when they will host Berea.
