Brevard Men’s Soccer Returns to Action Against North Greenville

BREVARD, N.C.- After a nine-day layoff, the Brevard men's soccer team will return to action against North Greenville at Ives-Lemel Field September 18 at 7 p.m.

The Tornados (1-1) will look to build on their 4-1 victory over Huntingdon on September 9.

On offense for Brevard, freshman Jorge Jimenez will try to replicate his last performance, as he scored three goals in just his second collegiate match.

Brevard goalkeepers Hiroki Noguchi and Patrick Hall will also look to continue their solid start to the season, as the two have combined for 11 saves while allowing only four goals on the season.

The Crusaders come into the match 1-4, after winning their first match of the season against King University on September 16 1-0.

This will be the first match between the two schools since September 3, 2015, where North Greenville came away with a 2-1 victory in overtime.
