BREVARD, N.C. – Brevard men's lacrosse head coach Eric McKinney announced his team's 2018 schedule on Tuesday, including seven home matches and meetings with Birmingham Southern and Wofford.

The season begins on Feb. 7 when the Tornados host Montreat at 5 p.m. on Ives-Lemel Family Turf Field. Three days later, Brevard treks to Birmingham Southern for a clash with the Panthers.

"While our primary focus is on the necessary off-season work, we do have high expectations for our spring schedule," said McKinney. "The USA South Conference features a great collection of teams and promises top notch competition.  With several returning multi-year starters on both sides of the field and a solid group of young men eager for their opportunities, we plan on opening up our Division III era with a strong statement about what to expect from the Brevard Tornados men's lacrosse program."

Brevard returns home for a pair of contests in mid-February, facing Emmanuel (Feb. 14) and Randolph (Feb. 17), before closing out the opening month on the road against Oglethorpe (Feb. 21) and Huntingdon (Feb. 24).

The Tornados will then face seven USA South schools among their final nine opponents, including home contests against Methodist (March 3), Piedmont (March 13), William Peace (March 17) and Averett (March 31), which marks the home finale.

The season concludes on the road against Union (April 7) and Pfeiffer (April 14).
