Fisher, Tranchant Finish Top-10 at the Tusculum Men’s Golf Invitational

GREENVILLE, Tenn. - Austin Fisher finished in a tie for fifth place, while Thibault Tranchant earned a tie for ninth as the Brevard College Tornados Men's Golf team competed in the 27th annual Tusculum Men's Golf Invitational over the weekend in Greenville, Tennessee. 

Fisher garnered his fourth top-five finish of the Spring season by finishing with a two-round score of 147 (+5) to finish in a tie for fifth with Shorter University's Bryce Johnson.

Fisher finished the first round in sole possession of second place after firing a 3-under, 68 that included a stretch of birdies on four out of five holes on the back nine. 

Tranchant scored his second top-10 finish of the spring by following up a first round score of 74 (+3) with a second-round 75 (+4) for a two-round score of 149 (+7).

Thomas Purcell also competed in this weekend's event, scoring a 161.
