Fisher, Stephen Pace Brevard at Tusculum Bob Dibble Classic

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – Teammates Austin Fisher and Craig Stephen, who finished in the top 20 of the Tusculum Bob Dibble Classic, led the way for a Brevard team that finished eighth overall at the Links Hill Country Club course.

Fisher paced the Tornados unit by carding a 144 (72-72; +2) to finish tied for 10th alongside Tusculum's Brandon Alexander. Stephen joined him among top performers with scores of 75 and 72, finishing in a four-way tie for 20th place, as he notched his second top 20 outing of the season.

Mars Hill's Harry Butler, who emerged with the individual title on the ninth playoff hole following a battle with Anthony Bolden (Tusculum), posted a three under 139 (70-69).

Ben Kleppe also enjoyed a solid outing for Brevard by scoring 76 and 77 (153, +11) to finish tied for 45th with Matthew Kowalski of Tusculum.

Rounding out the Brevard scores were Declan Addison (154) and Calum McAndrew (154), who tied for 47th.

The Tornados head to Myrtle Beach next weekend to compete in the Lenoir-Rhyne Myrtle Beach Invitational that will take place Oct. 2-3.
