LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Brevard College men's basketball team (3-10, 2-3 USAS) will continue its three-game road trip on Tuesday evening, making the trip to Lookout Mountain, Georgia to battle with the Covenant College Scots (8-4, 5-0 USAS) for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off. The Tornados come into Tuesday's matchup following a close setback at the hands of Berea College on the road back on January 8 by a final of 71-65. Cannon Lamb's double-double effort of 23 points and 10 boards led the way for Brevard, while senior forward Levi Lamb added 17 points.

History was made in Brevard's last contest, as Levi Lamb became Brevard's NCAA-era career leader in 3-pointers made. Early in the first half, the Atlanta native drained his 124th long-range shot of his four-year Tornado career, passing former Brevard College player Gaither Hendrix (2010-12) for most made 3-pointers in the NCAA-era.

Levi Lamb continues to maintain as one of the USA South's premier scoring threats, averaging 15.9 points-per-game – a mark that ranks ninth in the conference.

The Scots feature Caleb Barnette, who is currently fourth in the USA South in scoring (17.8 ppg). Preseason D3hoops.com All-American selection Will Crumly bolsters the Scot offense with 16.3 points-per-contest, while also hauling down an average of 8.8 rebounds-per-game.

Both teams have hit a high mark from distance this season, as both Brevard (108) and Covenant (101) have hit over 100 3's this season. The Tornados have illustrated their ability to move the basketball consistently this season, averaging 14.4 assists-per-game compared to Covenant's 13.7.

After Tuesday's matchup, Brevard will conclude its three-game road stretch by facing Pfeiffer University (7-6, 2-3 USAS) on Saturday, January 18 at 4 p.m. in Misenheimer, North Carolina.
