BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College men's basketball team (0-4) is prepared to travel down to Greenville, South Carolina on Tuesday evening for its second matchup of the 2019-20 season against the Bob Jones University Bruins (2-5), with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m.

Fans can follow along with the action here via live stream from Bob Jones University.

The Tornados will be looking to avenge a narrow defeat suffered at the hands of the Bruins, 80-78, at the Boshamer Gymnasium back on November 19. Brevard will also be searching for its first win of the 2019-20 campaign after losing its first four regular-season contests, two of which coming by less than five points each.

In the two sides' first meeting of the season, the extremely tight, back-and-forth contest featured 13 ties and a grand total of 18 lead changes, as both teams jockeyed with each other for the entire contest. Brevard held a late lead, 75-74, with just under two minutes left before the Bruins scored five-consecutive points to retake the advantage, 79-75. A late Brevard 3-pointer and missed BJU free throw set up a last-second heave for the Tornados that came up just short, as the Bruins took the first of the home-and-home series, 80-78.

In the first meeting between these two sides, junior forward Cannon Lamb came off the bench to score a career-high 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting to lead Brevard.  Lamb dished out a team-high four assists, blocked two shots, and grabbed two rebounds.

Demari Hopper (13 pts), Levi Lamb (12 pts), and Mike Williams (10 pts) also scored in double figures for the Tornados.  Hopper hit 3-of-4 3-pointers, while Levi Lamb scored nine of his 12 points in the second half. Williams, a sophomore transfer from Newberry College, hit two three-pointers and set his new scoring high in a Tornado uniform.

Jayson Barnhart led the Bruins in the first meeting with a game-high 24 points off the bench on 11-of-13 shooting. Nate Ellenwood's 12 points gave the Bruins two scorers in double-figures.

Since the two sides last met over two weeks ago, the Bruins of Bob Jones have fallen to consecutive USA South Conference opponents. The Bruins dropped a tight, 92-89 decision to Huntingdon College before falling by a final score of 85-72 to the LaGrange College Panthers.

Senior forward Levi Lamb has maintained as Brevard's leading point-scorer through the Tornados' first four countable games of the regular season. The Atlanta native has poured in an average of 18.3 points-per-game, shooting an efficient 48% from the field. Cannon Lamb (11.8 ppg) and Hopper (10.5 ppg) have emerged as Brevard's other double-figure scoring threats thus far.

In addition to leading his team in scoring, Levi Lamb has paced Brevard in rebounds-per-game (4.5) and blocks-per-game (1.3), while Hopper's 1.8 steals-per-contest lead all Tornado players.

Ellenwood (14.4 ppg), Barnhart (13.4 ppg), and Daniel Fuller (13.1 ppg) have helmed the Bruin offense, as Bob Jones boasts three double-digit scoring threats so far in 2019-20.

As a team, the Bruins have been slightly outscoring the Tornados this season - 75.6 to 69.8 points-per-game - however, Brevard will look to take advantage of Bob Jones' 17 turnovers-per-contest.

Following Tuesday's rematch, the Tornados will return home for the final time in the 2019 calendar year when Brevard plays host to Berea College on Saturday as part of a doubleheader at the Boshamer Gymnasium. Brevard's women's team plays at 2 p.m., followed shortly by the men who are scheduled to tip-off at approximately 4 p.m.
