The Brevard College Department of Athletics is pleased to announce its inaugural BC Athletics Tornado Club Auction. The online silent auction was made available on Monday, August 1 at 8 a.m. and runs until Wednesday, August 21 at 8 a.m., the date of the 11th annual BC Tornados Open held at the Lake Toxaway Country Club.
The USA South Conference on Friday morning released its annual USA South Academic All-Conference list, selecting 91 Brevard College student-athletes as Academic All-Conference selections. Additionally, 18 student-athletes collected “With Distinction” Academic All-Conference honors, accruing at least a 3.9 grade point average in both the Fall and Spring semesters.

Brevard College student-athlete Tyler Orschel will compete at the UCI, February 2-3 in Bogense, Denmark as a member of the Canadian Cyclocross team. Orschel, a native of Uxbridge, Ontario, was one of 13 riders selected by Cycling Canada to compete in the World Championships.

For the first time in program history, the Brevard College Cycling team sent three cyclists to the same World Championship.
The Tornados sent three cyclists to the 2018 UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) Mountain Bike World Championship in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. Team members Carson Beckett (Jr., USA), Nathan St. Clair (Fr., USA), and Tyler Clark (Fr., Canada) represented their countries and Brevard College at this prestigious event.
