Tornados Clash with Hawks this Weekend

BREVARD, N.C.- Coming off their second walk-off victory of the season, Brevard will take on Huntingdon in a three-game weekend series starting on Friday afternoon. Brevard (2-3) heads into their first road series of the season, and will look to pull their record over .500 with wins over the Hawks.

In Brevard's last game, sophomore Ryan Roon delivered the walk-off hit in the bottom of the seventh inning to score two runs and for the Tornados earn their second win of the season. With his two RBI's on the play, he is second on the team in that category, only behind Joseph Nelms (four).

Senior Drake Black pitched his second complete game of the season in the victory, as the right-hander leads the team with 20 strikeouts and a team-low 3.71 ERA.

Huntingdon (5-3) heads into the game on a two-game winning streak, as the Hawks have averaged 13 runs in those games against Elmira. Senior Tyler Fought leads the team in hits (19), RBI's (13), and is tied for the team lead in home runs (one).

First pitch is set to be thrown at 7 p.m EST.
