Brevard Athletics Continues Partnership with BoxCast for HD Webcasting

With the goal of continually enhancing the viewing experience for its fan base, Brevard College Athletics will continue its partnership with BoxCast, as the online video platform host for the department's home athletic webcasts.

Based out of Cleveland, Ohio, BoxCast has developed a plug-and-play box that allows anyone with a camera to stream standard and high-definition live video.  The device then captures and transmits video to BoxCast's secure cloud-based servers making the video available to be viewed on any number of devices including practically any smartphone, laptop or tablet computer.

Beginning this fall, BC Athletics will offer high-definition for all webcasted home events, free of charge. "BoxCast has been a great partnership with Tornado Athletics," says Athletic Director, Myranda Nash. "HD streaming will give our out-of-town supporters the clarity they deserve to watch our student-athletes compete."

Fans can continue to access the Tornado webcasts through links on the main page, twitter links and team schedule pages on BCTornados.com
